Beautiful gold dore and marble French mantle clock of the highest quality. 8 day movement with bell strike. This clock was purchased from the Anne Thomsom Dodge Estate (Dodge Motor Co), Meadow Brook Hall, Detroit, Michigan, in 1975. 13 jewels with amazing bronze detail. Additionally, the clock is housed in a period rosewood and satinwood inlaid dome (not shown). Approximately 13 inches in height. Circa 1850.
