Monumental matched pair cobalt blue mantle urns or vases. Very fine quality in dark cobalt blue with pretty gold adornments in an organic motif. Signed JP France. I am not sure who this maker is---there was a French maker, Jacob Petit, but this was earlier than these pieces I think. A fellow dealer thought these were possibly Limoges but, once again, I am not sure of that. I would judge these to be circa 1920s. Lovely pieces in excellent condition with fired gold handles and rim decoration. 22 inches tall and 11 inches from handle end to end..
