What a wonderful and beautiful alabaster statue of an angel with a butterfly. Piece is beautifully done and signed U. Biagini - Italian I would think. The angel (I believe an angel and not Cupid) has detailed toes, fingers, and wings. The piece is in excellent condition (there is a very slight darkness to one of the wings of the butterfly---see photo) and shows no signs of age or wear. As nice of statue as I have had in some time with pretty flowing hair and wrap. Overall size is 24 inches high and approximately 11 wide (wing to wing).
