This is a great early wood baseball bat by Winchester Repeating Arms Co of New Haven, CT. It is the 'Super Quality' model number 2300. Overall good quality although the bat has early nail repairs for a crack. Nicely done and adds to the charm of the period piece. As you already know, Winchester items are very collectible, especially their sporting equipment. Bat measures slightly over 34 inches in length.
