This is a wonderful oil on canvas (professionally backed) of two young boy; brothers I would judge. Contained in the original (?) brass frame. Piece is signed and dated 'fritz frohoe pint. 1874'---I think. Wonderful rendition of two young German boys each dressed in the Sunday finery one holding a toy ball. Good condition with expected even craquelure throughout. Special to have the original frame. Size of frame is 24.5 x 21.5 inches.
