What a great quartersawn oak multi drawer filing cabinet. Beautiful refinished oak with a nice even patina. Probably from a library because it was manufactured by the Library Bureau Sole Makers. If you have seen or owned other pieces by this company you know what high quality there are. This piece has paneled sides and back with 18 drawers and two doors in the base. This is a stackable unit for easier moving and all solid brass hardware. Notice the slanted top for use with a ridge to hold your item. Drawers (which originally had a movable 'stay'-now fixed) are 10.5 wide, 24 deep, and 3 high. Overall size of the piece is 44 wide, 29 deep, and 49 high (with gallery).
