This is the finest boudoir lamp I have had in several years. Lamp begins with a conical shade, reverse painted with birch trees, shrubbery and full moon, in earthen greens and browns against a silvery muted ground. The shade is supported by a Handel basket weave single socket base complete with acorn pull and chain. This base carries a desirable deep brown patina finish. Shade is signed 'Handel 6363R'. Base is double signed, once on metal work and on bottom with cloth label. Shade is 7 inch diameter and overall 14 inches tall. This lamp was from the Jim Wroda collection recently dispersed.
