This is a really fine carved Black Forest mantel clock. Before I describe it further, it has a modern quartz movement in it. That said, the quality of the carving is wonderful. Note the two birds on the top and the overall leaf and organic motif of the remainder. Original other than the movement. Would make a wonderful addition to your home as it is a real 'show stopper'. Overall size is 20 high, 19.5 wide, and 6.5 deep.
