This is certainly a beautiful oil painting. Of a young girl in a late Victorian or Edwardian dress with beautiful red rose in her hand. Note the large red rose bush next to her and the fine detail of the lace on her dress. Oil on canvas from the late 19th or early 20th century, apparently unsigned but certainly well done. Cleaning would be appropriate (some foxing) but the piece is without repair. Framed in a pretty gold frame and entitled 'Emily Hudson N. Y. 1891'. Framed size is 25.5 x 31.5 inches. UPS packing required on this piece.
