Adorable quartered oak half size barrister stacked bookcase. Sometimes called a lawyers bookcase. This section has the Globe Wernicke labels on each section. Piece is executed in quartered oak with leaded glass doors. Additional highlights include an unusual book rest on the top of the piece---pretty neat. Also not ethe beveled diamonds in each door and a full skirt (note the 'leopard' bands on each side) Completely professionally restored (some of the backs, bands, etc. may have been replaced). This is an exceptional unit in that it has a stepback bottom section (deeper) and also the height of the units are graduated. Very versitile and functional piece. 17 wide x 15 deep x 58 high. The individual stacks from the bottom measure 13.5 h, 15.0 d, 17.0 w, next is 12.5 h, 11.25 d, and 17 w. Top two stacks are 10 h, 11.25 d, 17.0 w. Super piece.
