This is a very fine Country store oak seed counter or seed cabinet or bean cabinet. This is very similar to my stock number 13546 except for the length and drawer sizes. Professionally restored and in excellent condition - ready to move into your home. This cabinet was made by the famous country store furniture company 'Sherer' of Chicago and, in fact, the drawers retain the original cast iron pulls with the company name embossed on them. This is also remnants of the original label on the side (see photo). I have sold these over the years mostly as kitchen island but for many other uses - one lady bought one for her sewing room and put thread, pins, cotton, etc., in the window areas. I do not believe you will find a better example. Each end has pretty paneled sides. This unit has twelve large drawers (clean and odorless). Each of the drawer interiors are 12 wide, 7.5 high and 24 deep. Overall piece is 62 long, 29 deep and 34 high. I will arrange shipping for you if you like.
