This is a very fine Country Store oak seed counter or seed cabinet or bean cabinet. This is very similar to my stock number 13547 except for the length and drawer sizes. Professionally restored and in excellent condition - ready to move into your home. This cabinet was made by the famous country store furniture company 'Sherer' of Chicago and, in fact, the drawers retain the original cast iron pulls with the company name embossed on them. This is also remnants of the original label on the side (see photo). I have sold these over the years mostly as kitchen island but for many other uses - one lady bought one for her sewing room and put thread, pins, cotton, etc., in the window areas. I do not believe you will find a better example. Each end has pretty paneled sides. This unit has six large drawers (clean and odorless). Three of the drawer interiors are 14.5 wide, 14 high and 23 deep. The other three drawers are 14.5 wide, 9 high, and 23 deep. Overall piece is 56 long, 29 deep and 34 high.
