This is a great Cub shoe polish pin. The front shows a bear cub in a baseball uniform similar to the Chicago Cubs---he is shining his shoes. The back reads 'A bright face and shining shoes a man's best capital Use Cub shoe polish Martin & Martin Litho Chicago'. I believe the shoe polish was manufactured in Chicago circa 1920s or 30s. Neat collection button with great connection to the Chicago Cubs baseball team. 1.5 inches in diameter and overall very good condition with just very minor scratches. Note the pin does retain its original pin back and has great color.
