This is a beautiful flow blue covered tureen with underplate. Some might call this a covered casserole. It was manufactured by T. Rathbone & Co., circa late 1920s. This piece is in the very popular pattern of 'Hamden'. In extremely good condition---there is one very small roughness on the underplate which I have examined with a loupe. I believe it is just part of the manufacture and, as I said, is very small. A beautiful three piece set with very vibrant color. Underplate size is 8.5 x 11 with the height of the three together at about 6.5.
