This is an especially nice quartersawn oak barrister bookcase. Sometimes called a stacked bookcase or lawyer's bookcase. Four sections or stacks with three being the conventional glass doors and the bottom section containing 12 neat drawers. I think this unit is quite original--brass pulls and good original smooth and even finish. Each of the drawers are 14.5 wide, 11 deep, and 1.25 high The overall piece is 34 wide, 15 deep, and 56 high. Nice quartering used in construction and a high quality piece---manufactured by the Gunn Sectional Bookcase Co. (original labels) of Michigan.
