Very nice quartersawn oak graduated barrister stacked bookcase. Sometimes called a lawyers bookcase. I believe all the glass is original with the top unit being leaded glass. Five graduated stacks of three different sizes. Additionally, the base has a drawer inserted and all units have the original 'leopard' bands. There are three stacks which are 12.25 high, one stack which is 10.5 high, and one stack which is 14.25 high. A couple of the units retain the original Globe Wernicke labels. Nice large and functional overall size at 72.25 high, 12 deep, and 34 wide. Beautiful smooth and even finish (may not be original but is not new either). Circa 1900.
