Six drawer J & P Coats spool cabinet with brass pulls (note the brass pulls are in the shape of a spool of thread) and are embossed with the words 'Clark's Mile End'. Cabinet is cherry and in excellent restored condition (very minor roughness to front bottom drawer). 23 high and 26 wide and 19 deep. Front of drawers read (in recess) J & P Coats, Spool Cotton, White, "Best Six Cord", Black, Assorted Colors'. Would make a wonderful end table or night stand. Note fancy turned pillars and pressed design on drawer fronts on either end. This is the model which has the neat embossed J & P spool of thread on the back panel---one of the most popular of all spool cabinet designs. Circa 1900. PERFECT.
