A wonderful reverse painted table lamp by Pairpoint. Original shade and base in excellent condition (minor loss to top rim of shade concealed under heat cap). A beautiful lamp executed with a reverse painted Exeter shade of 18 inch diameter. Shade is signed The Pairpoint Corporation and also artist signed F T Guba (I think). The shade has a pretty pastoral scene of trees, fields, sheep, and a couple walking. Overall height of the lamp is 23 inches. Original base is signed Pairpoint D3054 Made in U S A with their triangle insignia and has an overall embossed design in an organic floral motif. A beautiful patina has developed on the base over time. The lamp has been professionally rewired with appropriate cloth cord for safety purposes. The base retains its original three sockets including pull chains. A beautiful lamp from the early 20 century firm known for their reverse painted lamps.
