A wonderful late Victorian bronze statue of a pretty lady and her adoring dog. The woman is sitting on a tree stump (note root structure) with flowers growing. Beautiful bronze with fine detail---please note the flowing folds of her dress, the precise finger and toe nails, the dog's hair, and the pretty floral's in her hair. This piece has been well cared for and is in perfect condition. A smooth and mellow patina has developed on the entire bronze. Overall size is 12.5 high, 8.5 long, and 6.5 deep.
