1909-1911 T-206 Chief Bender Piedmont Cigarette portrait card. Well centered card with clean surfaces and even corner wear. Piedmont back is also well centered and blemish free. As you probably know, Chief Bender was an outstanding baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Athletics. After graduating from Carlisle Indian Industrial School, Bender went on to a stellar career as a starting pitcher from 1903 to 1917, primarily with Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics. Card is encapsulated in a Sportcard Guaranty plastic case and guaranteed authentic (in writing). Case has overall dimensions of 3.5 x 5.5 inches.
