What a beautiful and well executed bronze statue of Cupid. An interesting and charming motif of Cupid working on an anvil making his arrows. Excellent original patina and without damage or flaws. Nicely done with good detail; note the garland of flowers around the base of his anvil and his bow, quiver, and torch on the ground. 10 inches tall. Piece may have originallly had a base plinth (although there is no evidence of this). Numbered but no apparent signature. Early 20th century - Wonderful subject matter.
