This is a beautiful German Black Forest cuckoo clock with the cuckoo and quail. As you may know, the cuckoo counts the hours on the hour whereas the quail counts for the quarter hours and half hour. These are not common form this time perior (circa 1900). Beautifully carved case in excellent condition with pretty inlay work (marquetry). Quite possibly this clock once had a gallery. Clock has been cleaned and is in good working condition and running in my store. Overall size of the case is 15 wide, 18 high, and 6 deep.
