This is one of the best and most original store thermometers I have seen in some time. Nice early wood piece. Nice old original painted finish for 'Brady the Clothier and Furnisher' and 'Brady the Hatter'. Pretty versatile guy! Anyway, he was located in Union City, Indiana. Original mercury thermometer which is working well and glass tube (full of a clear liquid) for the barometer. Back has directions (somewhat missing). Note the hand notation of high temperatures in 1936---looks like it was about 102 on 7-9-36---WOW! I would guess this piece is from the turn of the century. Overall size is 24 long and 6 wide.
