If you like chickens or like laundry room collectibles, this piece is for you. It is a clothes pin holder to hang on your clothes ling with chickens (rooster, hen, and chick, I guess) displayed on it. It was a 'give-away' by Purina Poultry Chows and Valentine Elevator in Mentone Indiana. I live not far from Mentone and it is called the Egg Capitol of the World!. Regardless, this is a neat item in overall good condition with a few mild signs of wear. The interior of the bag is marked Manf by the Champion Clothespin Co, Minneapolis Minn USA Pat No 2160658. That number would indicate a 1939 patent. There even are a few wood clothes pin remaining in the bag. Overall size of the bag is approx. 11 x 11 with the metal hanger approx. 13 inches long (it will fold down if desired).
