This is a beautiful oil on board painting of a pretty lady in an evening gown with flowers in her hair. Beautifully done, the piece is contained in a period (I believe) Art Nouveau style gesso frame in an overall organic motif (professionally restored). Piece is artist signed D. Fleran (I believe) near the top left. I have not removed piece from the frame (see photos); back has inscribed in pencil Cynthia. I see no evidence of repair or inpainting. Sight 17.5 x 13.5. Overall including frame is 26 x 22 inches. I would believe circa 1900.
