This is a rather rare spool cabinet. Cabinet is in excellent restored condition. Executed in oak by the Eureka Silk Co. This cabinet was given to retailers for their promotion of Eureka thread. The clock is an old Seth Thomas but is not working and, in fact, the movement had been removed many years ago. The door has several shelves behind it and locks over the seven drawers. Notice the pretty turned gallery on the top of the cabinet. Overall size is 33 high, 13 deep, 26 wide. Spools cabinets make excellent end tables or night stands, or ?????? Circa 1900.
