This is a pretty rare piece. I have sold many baseball catcher's chest protectors but most are material. This catchers chest protector is made of leather (canvas material on the back) and dates to circa 1920s. Extremely good condition for its age and purpose. Measures 33 long and 15 wide. Original manufactuers insignia (see photo) with an anchor symbol. GREAT DISPLAY ITEM!!!
