A rather rare model of spool cabinet Sometimes called the 'cash register' model. A couple companies made this type of cabinet---this is a Heminway. One drawer about the cylinder and one drawer below. Executed in walnut, you gain access to the interior trays (which slide outward) by the curved glass cylinder roll. I believe there was once five trays rather than three. This does not distract and is not particularly noticeable in any way. Note the paint "CHRISTMAS 1887' on the front of the glass roll. Nice pinstripping on front and sides. Spool cabinets make wonderful end tables or night stands. This would be a great collectors cabinet. Overall size is 22 wide, 16 deep, and 18 high.
