An exceptional French mantel clock with bronze statue. I'm not sure but I believe the statue is Caesar. Regardless, it is an fine example of bronze execution. Please note the detail of the casting. Pretty pagination on the bronze and overall good condition with the exception of some damage to the corners and center of the base marble and the case of the clock case itself (see photo). Piece is completely solid and sturdy assembled (several pieces make up the clock and statue). Currently running and keeping correct time---original bell. I do not see a maker's mark on the movement-I will guarantee it to be original to the clock. 26 high x 22 wide x 8.5 inches deep
