Exceptional solid oak revolving bookcase. I have sold many 'Danner' revolving bookcases over the years but this is even better. Oak, this piece retains its original label and is signed 'Geo. F. Sargent Co. Maker - 289 Fourth Ave. - New York, NY' (first model I have owned by this maker). Exceptional restored condition with all turned stiles present -- perfect. Revolving nicely and a very funcitional piece. Four shaped legs with casters; top is beveled and scuptured. Note decorative beading along bottom and under the stiles. This unit is not the common units often seen which are not actually Danners but less expensive competitors copies. Overall 56 high and 20 square. I don't think you will find a better revoling bookcase that this one.
