Exceptional matched pair of bronze L C Tiffany candlesticks. An impressive pair in an Art Nouveau design featuring a root base. This organic motif is seen in many of Tiffany's bronze works. This interesting root base candlestick is shown in Koch's book, p. 145. Beautiful patina has developed on both of the sticks featuring the hues of brown, red, and green. Both signed 'Tiffany Studios New York' and numbered '1200'. I do not think you will find a better pair of Tiffany sticks anywhere - exceptional condition. 12.5 inches in height. Circa 1900.
