A neat pair of cast iron dog bookends. Nice hand painting (original) on the two with just a very minimal amount of loss. Could function well as originally intended to hold books, or, certainly would look find as an decorative art. Note they are finish (in relief) on both sides. Approximately 5 long and 3 high. Circa 1920s I would think.
